Saille started
tearing up the extreme metal scene back in 2009. Originally spawning in Belgium,
the entire crew is now based in the Netherlands. They forged an alliance with Non Serviam Records to unleash "Forebode",
their sixth full-length album. Building a fierce reputation across European
festival stages, these guys fuse symphonic arrangements with pure black metal
aggression. After a five-year gap, the Dutch squad returns to completely
destroy your speakers.
"Forebode" delivers a
total onslaught of chaotic noise and grand classical elements. Tony Van den Eynde blasts the drums with pure malice,
driving the frantic pace of the album. The guitars, handled by Reinier Schenk, carve out freezing riffs and punishing
rhythms that rip right through the mix. Over the top of this sonic destruction,
Jesse Peetoom spits out agonizing screams and
guttural growls. The whole band operates as a massive weapon of extreme noise.
The visual art provided by Tamara Llenas looks totally grim and perfectly matches
the audio violence inside. Saille unleashes
fifty-two minutes of complete black metal savagery. The entire release rips and
leaves a massive trail of destruction behind. "Forebode" is an
absolute beast of an album that demands to be played at maximum volume.
