Turbo's Tribunal |Mills Of Tribunal |Jawbreaker Records

Release Date: January 23rd, 2026

Format: CD/Digital

Genre: Traditional Heavy Metal

Country: Denmark

Turbo's Tribunal is the one-man war machine of Andreas Thunbo, a Danish underground lifer who's been swinging the hammer for over thirty goddamn years. The guy has bled through projects like Pugnator, Peine and Oath Of Woe, never chasing trends, never selling out, just staying loyal to the old gods of metal. Releases were sparse, but the fire never died. Now, with "Mills Of Tribunal", Thunbo finally unleashes his full vision; pure, no-bullshit heavy metal built on killer riffs and hooks that stick in your skull like a battle axe.

This debut is forty minutes of straight-up riff worship. Andreas handles everything, vocals, guitars, bass, drums, and the result sounds like one pissed-off veteran refusing to let the flame go out. The album hammers home that classic sound we all crave.  Galloping rhythms, soaring melodies, epic vibes without turning into cheese. You can hear echoes of Running Wild's pirate fury, Warlord's majesty, Judas Priest's razor edge, Iron Maiden's drama, Manowar’s chest-beating power and Heavy Load’s raw Swedish thunder, but Thunbo molds it into something that’s clearly his own. No trendy crap, no plastic production, just honest-to-Satan heavy metal that hits you square in the jaw.

The songwriting is the real weapon here. Every cut is loaded with strong, memorable riffs and choruses that demand headbanging. Tracks like "Satan Is Here", "Death Gallop" and the title monster "Mills Of Tribunal" deliver the kind of anthems that make you want to crank the volume until the windows shatter. The whole thing feels urgent and pissed off, like Thunbo has thirty years of bottled-up metal rage and finally decided to let it rip. It’s heavy, it’s melodic, it’s epic when it needs to be, and it never wastes a second.

In a scene drowning in watered-down retro clones and overproduced garbage, "Mills Of Tribunal" stands tall as a proper heavy metal album. Andreas Thunbo didn’t make this to impress hipsters or chase streams, he made it because real heavy metal still fucking matters. If you live for the riff and the melody, this one’s gonna feed your soul.
