Steel Arctus was born in 2020 through the vision of guitarist Thanasis Nash Gousis. The name comes from the Greek word Arktos, the bear, a strong symbol tied to his mountain homeland. The band built its identity around a warrior figure who wanders through worlds shaped by Greek myths, Tolkien landscapes and the darker corners of Lovecraft and Clark Ashton Smith. Through these stories the band brings forward heavy metal with big vocals, driving riffs and an energy that aims straight for the chest. They have already stood on stage with Vicious Rumors, Riot and Domine, showing that their heroic sound works just as well live as it does in the studio. After “Fire And Blood” in 2020 and “Master Of War” in 2022, the new album “Dreamruler” arrives to push the band’s saga into a larger chapter.

Steel Arctus moves with a classic heavy metal spirit, using strong guitar work, bright leads and vocals that reach high without losing raw power.
