Death
Dealer emerged as
a heavy metal supergroup built on pedigree and experience, uniting voices and
players known for their work with Cage, Manowar, Symphony X, Dungeon, and Into Eternity.
From the start, the band focused on classic heavy metal values shaped by
decades on stage and in studios across the world. Their catalogue has grown
slowly, guided by patience and discipline, placing songwriting and performance
above trend chasing.
“Reign Of Steel” arrives after a
long gestation period, shaped over five years of writing and revision. That
time shows in the album’s focused direction and disciplined pacing. The songs
rely on strong vocal presence, firm riff construction, and a clear sense of
forward motion. This is heavy metal that keeps its eyes forward, rooted in
tradition while remaining grounded in the present moment.
The production supports that
approach. Co-produced by Stuart Marshall and Sean Peck, and mixed and mastered by Chris Themelco at Monolith
Studios, the sound is large, firm, and well defined. Every element sits
where it should, giving the album a muscular presence without excess
decoration. The artwork by Dusan Markovic and
design work by Aley Yarborough extend the
album’s visual identity, matching the music’s steel forged character.
“Reign Of Steel” presents Death Dealer at a mature stage, focused on execution
and consistency. It is an album built on discipline, experience, and a clear
understanding of heavy metal tradition. Fans of classic driven heavy metal will
recognize the craft on display, delivered with authority and commitment across the
full running time.
