Wings Of Steel surfaced from Los Angeles when vocalist Leo Unnermark and guitarist and bassist Parker Halub crossed paths during their music
studies. They connected instantly, both pulling from classic heavy metal and
hard rock while aiming for something spirited and personal. By 2019 they were
writing together, shaping the style that would later define the band. The self
titled EP arrived in 2022 with drummer Mike Mayhem completing
the trio. It was privately released at first, then caught wider attention once High Roller Records stepped in for a proper 2025
reissue. With two later albums already praised across the metal underground,
this early work offers a clear look at how their chemistry began.
This debut EP has the
