Release Date: January 9th, 2026
Format: CD/LP/Digital
Genre: Death Metal
Country: Chile
Oraculum was formed
in 2011 and quickly became part of the deeper, darker current of Chilean death
metal. Through several EPs, the band built a reputation for hostile atmosphere,
old-school devotion, and a sound rooted in extremity and occult imagery. Their
work has always leaned toward the underground, far from trends or polish, and
that path continues with their first full-length release.
Vocals sit deep in the mix, sounding
hostile and commanding, while the guitar work emphasizes thick, grinding
patterns and ominous chord progressions. The rhythm section keeps the album
grounded, pushing forward with relentless force and maintaining tension
throughout the record. The songwriting avoids unnecessary decoration and stays
focused on impact, atmosphere, and aggression, which suits the band’s aesthetic
well.
"Hybris Divina" is a solid
debut full-length that confirms Oraculum as a
serious presence in the extreme metal underground. It delivers a consistent and
focused experience that stays true to its intent and atmosphere.
